The Township Board of Commissioners shall prescribe,
by resolution, such employee benefits as shall be appropriate in its
discretion which benefits shall hereafter be as set forth in the Township
Policies and Procedure Manual (as same relate to nonunion employees)
and in the various employee contracts of the Township (as same relate
to unionized employees).
The employee benefits currently recited in the
Township Policies and Procedure Manual (as to nonunion employees)
and in the relevant employee contract (as to unionized employees)
are hereby confirmed as of the date hereof.
The Township Manager shall have authority to
prescribe, amend and enforce work rules and regulations for Township
employees and in the prosecution of Township business and all employees
shall be governed thereby. Before any such rules and regulation become
final they shall first be approved by resolution of the Township Board
of Commissioners. When such rules and regulations have been so approved,
they shall not be annulled, amended or added to without the approval
of said Board of Commissioners.
