[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Supervisors
of the Township of East Manchester 6-12-1984 by Ord. No. 6-12-84 (Ch. 4 of the 1988 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Board of Supervisors may make and adopt
at regular Township meetings one or more resolutions expending money
from the general Township fund to or for nonprofit associations or
corporations or to or for the appropriate nearby authorities, regardless
of whether any such association or corporation or authority is situate
inside or outside the territorial boundaries of the Township, for
library service, for recreational programs, for fire-fighting services,
for observance of holidays or civic projects and for community nursing
services and family health guidance at programs such as senior citizens
centers and related efforts for the welfare of the Township and its
residents.
