The position of Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer is hereby created in and for the Township of East Hanover pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 110, Public Laws of 1988, Section 5.[1]

The Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer shall
be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of sound financial
and accounting methods and practices for the management and distribution
of township funds.
The Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer shall
be provided with a bond for the faithful performance of the duties
of the office in an amount as recommended by the Township Auditor
and in accordance with law.
