The Board of Road Commissioners and, effective
July 1, 2009, the Board of Public Works shall have the authority to
issue permits for the excavation of trenches on privately owned land
and for the excavation of a public way of the Town pursuant to the
provisions of Chapter 82A of the General Laws.
