When written notice of a violation of any of the provisions
of this chapter has been served by the Zoning Administration Officer
on the owner, agent, or occupant, contractor or builder, such violation
shall be discontinued immediately.
Any person, partnership or corporation who or which has violated
the provisions of this chapter shall, upon being found liable therefor
in a civil enforcement proceeding commenced by the Township Supervisors,
pay a judgement of not more than $500 plus all court costs, including
reasonable attorneys' fees incurred by the Township Supervisors as
a result thereof, pursuant to the provisions of Section 617.2 of the
Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.[1] All judgments, costs and reasonable attorneys' fees collected
for the violation of this chapter shall be paid over to Schuylkill
Township.

In case any building, sign, or structure is erected, constructed,
reconstructed, altered, repaired, converted or maintained, or any
building, sign, structure or land is used, or any hedge, tree, shrub
or other growth is maintained in violation of this chapter or of any
regulations pursuant thereto, in addition to other remedies provided
by law, any appropriate action or proceeding, whether by legal process
or otherwise, may be instituted or taken to prevent such unlawful
erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, conversion,
maintenance or use, to restrain, correct or abate such violation,
to prevent the occupancy of said building, structure, or land, or
to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business or use in or about such
premises.
Fees for building permits, use and occupancy permits, certified
statements of compliance which may be required by any party, fees
for a zoning change or for any other appeal and fees required for
filing a curative amendment and any other fee requiring an application
to the Township for review, amendment, appeal, shall be contained
in a resolution adopted by the Township Supervisors, as may be amended
or readopted, and such resolution shall be considered a part of this
chapter. Copies of the most recent fee schedule adopted by resolution
shall be available in the Schuylkill Township Municipal Building.
