Every physician practicing within the Township shall report to the Department of Health or the Health Officer the name and residence of every patient under his care affected with any contagious disease specified in the rules and regulations of the state Department of Health.

Whenever it may be deemed necessary by the Department of Health to determine the true character of any disease which it may have reason to believe to be a contagious disease, the person affected with such disease may by order of the Department be subjected to medical examination. When such examination shall have been ordered by the Department, no person shall delay, hinder or prevent the same.

In case any person shall be affected by any contagious disease, such person shall, if deemed necessary by the Health Officer, be removed to such place as the Health Officer and physician in attendance may order.

Every person living in a dwelling in which there is a person affected with any contagious disease shall comply with the rules and regulations of the Department of Health.

Any undertaker who shall visit any house which is quarantined, for the purpose of preparing a body or for arranging for a funeral, shall first notify and obtain permission from the Department of Health. He shall follow all instructions and use all means which the Department of Health may direct to guard against and prevent the communication or propagation of the disease.
