The following are designated as fire lanes within the Town of
Waterford, and, in the areas described, no parking shall be permitted
as follows:
A.
River Street.
B.
First Avenue: beginning at a point on the westerly side of First
Avenue with its intersection at River Street and proceeding 30 feet
in a northerly direction to a point, such being the easterly boundary
of a parcel of land identified on the Tax Maps of the Town of Waterford
as Section 295.12, Block 1, Lot 26.
C.
Museum Lane: on the south side from Saratoga Avenue and continuing
along the existing fence line the entire length of the lane.
D.
Van Derwerken Avenue: beginning at a point on Van Derwerken Avenue
which is at the intersection of Grace Street with Van Derwerken Avenue
on the westerly side of Van Derwerken Avenue, which is identified
on the Tax Maps of the Town of Waterford as Section 295.08, Block
2, Lot 7, and continuing from such point in an easterly direction
150 feet, such being the entire frontage of Tax Map parcel Section
295.08, Block 2, Lot 7.
E.
Grace Street: on the north side from Grove Street and continuing
in an easterly direction to First Avenue.
F.
Fulton Street: on the south side from Saratoga Avenue the entire
length of the roadway.

A.
The Town Superintendent of Highways is hereby authorized and directed
to post appropriate signs having substantially the following instructions:
FIRE LANE NO PARKING VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWED.
B.
After appropriate signs have been erected, officials of the Town
of Waterford, upon finding a vehicle or obstruction in violation of
this chapter, may direct that such vehicle be towed or such obstruction
be removed from the fire lane and that all expenses relative to the
towing, removal and storage shall be the responsibility of the owner
of the vehicle or obstruction.
