The purpose of this article is to regulate parking in the Township's
designated commuter parking facilities.
A.
All drivers having a valid commuter parking permit shall only park
within the marked spaces in the north end of the parking lot designated
for commuter parking.
B.
Drivers shall not park in any location which shall block any other
car or prevent emergency vehicles unencumbered access throughout the
parking lot.
Commuters shall only park in the designated space between the
hours of 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight, Monday through Thursday, and
6:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. on Fridays.
No one shall be permitted to park overnight in the commuter
parking lot.
A.
Any vehicle may be subject to removal if it is parked overnight in
a commuter lot or when the lot is snow covered so as to hinder the
ability to plow the lot.
B.
Removal can be authorized by any municipal law enforcement officer.
C.
The owner of the vehicle shall pay the reasonable cost of removal
and storage before regaining possession of the vehicle.
Municipal law enforcement officers shall enforce the regulations as set forth in this Article XVI.
Any person who violates any provision of this article shall be subject to the penalties as set forth in § 1-7, General penalty, of the Code of the Township of Livingston.
