No person, unless a legal resident of Great Barrington, shall
deposit garbage, offal, waste, vegetable or animal matter or any trees,
refuse, rubbish or other waste material in any solid waste disposal
area maintained by the Town.

Effective September 1, 1990, polystyrene or polypropylene food
or beverage containers shall not be used in the Town of Great Barrington
to package food or beverages if that packaging takes place on the
premises of retail sale. This provision shall not apply to the packaging
of uncooked meat, uncooked poultry and/or uncooked fish.
