The Mayor and Council shall have control over the lands, playgrounds and recreation places designated as Brookside Park, Gritman Park, Hageman Park, Jake Voorhis Park, McKinley Park, Meadowbrook Park, Veterans Memorial Park and Westvale Park, or such other lands which may be acquired for this purpose from time to time, and may adopt suitable rules, regulations and bylaws for the use thereof and the conduct of all persons while on or using same.
Any person who shall violate any of the rules, regulations or bylaws adopted by the Mayor and Council shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article III, General Penalty, of the Code of the Borough of Westwood.
The custodians, supervisors and assistants appointed by the Mayor and Council shall, while on duty and for the purpose of preserving order and the observance of the rules, regulations and bylaws of the Mayor and Council, have all the power and authority of police officers of the Borough.
