Traffic signal installations shall be in accordance with the
provisions of an act concerning motor vehicles and traffic regulations,
Subtitle 1 of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey,[1] and shall conform to the design and shall be maintained
in operation as authorized by the Department of Transportation.
