The Mayor and Council of the Borough of Westwood finds it in the interest of the public safety and for the proper regulation of traffic that traffic control signals shall be installed at the intersections described below:
At the Intersection of
Broadway and Irvington Street
Broadway and Jefferson Avenue/First Avenue/Park Avenue
Broadway and Lake Street
Broadway and Washington Avenue/Westwood Avenue
Broadway at the north entrance/exit of the Westwood Plaza
Fourth Avenue and Lafayette Avenue/Forest Avenue Extension
Kinderkamack Road and Westwood Avenue/Harrington Avenue
Lafayette Avenue/Forest Avenue Extension and Ridgewood Road/Lake Drive (approved by state 1-4-1972)
Lafayette Avenue and Mill Street (approved by state 8-4-1980)
Lafayette Avenue and Washington Avenue
Old Hook Road and Charles Street/Hackensack University Medical Center North at Pascack Valley driveway (approved by state 4-5-1977)
Old Hook Road and Kinderkamack Road
Old Hook Road and Main Street (approved by state 2-5-1993; County Ord. No. 93-03)
Old Hook Road and Sand Road
Third Avenue and Mill Street
Washington Avenue and Irvington Street (approved by state 7-4-1970)
Traffic signal installations shall be in accordance with the provisions of an act concerning motor vehicles and traffic regulations, Subtitle 1 of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey,[1] and shall conform to the design and shall be maintained in operation as authorized by the Department of Transportation.

The Mayor and Council of the Borough of Westwood finds it in the interest of the public safety and for the proper regulation of traffic that flashing school speed limit sign beacons shall be installed for the following school zones and will be located as described below:

A beacon for eastbound traffic shall be located on the south side of Harrington Avenue at a point 200 feet west of the westerly curbline of Berkeley Avenue

A beacon for westbound traffic shall be located on the north side of Harrington Avenue at a point 355 feet west of the westerly curbline of Sand Road
The Mayor and Council of the Borough of Westwood finds it in the interest of the public safety and for the proper regulation of traffic that flashing school advance sign beacons shall be installed for the following school zones and will be located as described below:

A beacon for northbound traffic shall be located on the east side of First Avenue at a point 26 feet north of the northerly curbline of Bogert Avenue.

A beacon for southbound traffic shall be located on the west side of First Avenue at a point 43 feet south of the southerly curbline of Park Avenue.

A beacon for northbound traffic shall be located on the east side of Third Avenue at a point 529 feet north of the easterly curbline of Fourth Avenue.
