[Adopted 10-5-1978 by Ord. No. 2335 as §§ 5-25 to 5-28 of the 1978 Revised General Ordinances]
No person shall establish, keep, maintain or operate any public billiard or pool room, or pool parlor or bowling alley, without first obtaining therefor a license from the City Clerk.
An applicant for such a license shall present to the Clerk an application signed by him, stating his full name and residence, the purpose and place for which he seeks a license, the number of pool or billiard tables or bowling alleys to be installed and the name and address of any person who, during any of the hours of operation of the establishment, shall be in charge thereof, which application shall be submitted with the required fee.
The annual fee for such license shall be as provided for in Chapter 191, Fee Schedule. Each such license shall expire one year from the date of issuance thereof, shall apply only to the place mentioned therein, and shall not be transferable without the consent of the Clerk.

Any person who shall violate any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $500 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
