There shall be elected from the county at large a District Attorney.
The term for this office shall begin with the first day of January
following the election of a District Attorney and shall run for four
years. At the time of election and throughout the term of office,
the District Attorney shall be a qualified elector of the County of
Sullivan and shall be duly admitted to the practice of law in the
State of New York.
The District Attorney shall have and exercise all powers and
duties now or hereafter conferred or imposed by any applicable law.
