A. 
A group of citizens dedicated to the sustainability of the community and known as the Green Team, appointed by the City Council is hereby established.
B. 
The Green Team previously created by the City Council is hereby established as a subcommittee of the City of Englewood Environmental Commission, with the Green Team’s membership remaining as currently constituted.

The mission, goals and objectives for the Englewood Environmental Commission Green Team subcommittee remain as follows:
A. 
To facilitate the successful completion of the requirements for certification of Sustainable New Jersey and pursue the goals and objectives of Sustainable New Jersey.
B. 
To educate and encourage all City employees, residents and businesses to participate in green initiatives.
C. 
To collaborate with public and private green committees to ensure the replication of best practices and to ensure a coordinated effort in the City of Englewood and its neighboring communities.
A. 
The Green Team will consist of no less than nine nor more than 13 members and will include three members of the Englewood Environmental Commission, one City Council member, one representative from Flat Rock Brook Nature Center, and one representative from the Department of Public Works.
B. 
The Green Team shall be persons who reside or are employed in the City of Englewood and are to be appointed to terms of three years commencing January 1, 2010.
