A certificate of continued occupancy shall be required to be
issued prior to the sale of any structure within the Township.
Prior to the issuance of any such certificate of continued occupancy,
the Construction Code Official shall conduct an inspection of the
subject premises in order to ascertain compliance with this Code and
all ordinances of the Township, including zoning, construction, health
and the like. In the event there exists upon such premises any violation
of the Code or of any municipal ordinance or any hazardous or dangerous
conditions, as same are defined in the Uniform Construction Code,[1] a certificate of continued occupancy shall not be issued
until such violations have been corrected, and the Construction Code
Official has caused the same to be reinspected and found the premises
to be in compliance with the foregoing.
