In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 39:4-197, the
following municipal and Board of Education property shall have the
movement of traffic controlled by the type of regulation indicated.
No person shall operate or park a vehicle in violation of the regulations
indicated.
A.
Parking time limited. No person shall park a vehicle for longer than
the time limit between the hours listed on any day (except Sundays
and public holidays) in any of the places described:

(1)
Municipal parking lot. Any persons entering upon any municipal parking
lot operated by the Township shall observe the rules and regulations
of N.J.S.A. 39:1 of the New Jersey State Motor Vehicle Code and Township
ordinances.
(2)
Parking spaces. No person shall park any vehicle across any line
or marking of a parking space.
(3)
Parking facilities. No person shall deface, injure, tamper with,
open or willfully break, destroy or impair the usefulness of any parking
facilities.
(4)
Parking in municipal parking lots. No person shall park at any time
in any municipal parking lot in any spaces marked or designated for
police vehicles or Township officials. Parking spaces in municipal
lots which are not so marked or restricted may be used only by those
members of the public then transacting business within the municipal
facility adjoining said parking lot or, in the case of the public
library, when utilizing the library facilities. All others not transacting
business within the municipal facility adjoining said parking lot
shall be in violation of this subsection and subject to the penalties
as herein set forth.
(a)
This subsection and the restrictions set forth herein shall
be effective from 12:00 midnight on Monday through 12:00 noon on Friday
of each week.
(b)
Penalty and removal. In addition to those penalties prescribed in § 347-6 of this chapter, the Township of Clark determines that any vehicle parking or standing on a municipal lot in violation of this section shall be deemed a nuisance, and the Police Department may provide for the removal of such vehicle and payment by the owner of the reasonable cost thereof, in addition to such other penalties as may be imposed by municipal ordinance.
(c)
Enforcement. The Department of Public Safety of the Township
of Clark shall enforce the rules and regulations promulgated herein.
B.
Reserved parking. Parking shall be permitted in spaces only as shown
on the filed plan of the Arthur L. Johnson High School. All vehicles
parking in designated areas shall be properly identified.

(1)
Visitor parking. In those parking spaces located along the northerly
curbline, labeled with a "V," to the right of Door No. 2, the visitor
parking spaces shall be designated by signs reading "Parking for Visitors
Only, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., School Days."
(2)
Administrative staff. In those parking spaces located along the northerly
curbline of the driveway in front of the school and reserved for school
administration personnel, the school administration personnel parking
spaces shall be designated by signs.
(3)
Assigned numbered/lettered spaces. In those areas displaying numbers/letters,
and only to those vehicles bearing an authorized number/letter sticker
issued by the principal, or his/her designee, of Arthur L. Johnson
High School and affixed to the vehicle window or a tag hanging from
the rear-view mirror displaying a number or letter corresponding to
the parking stall or space number, during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and
4:00 p.m., school days, signs reading "Parking for Assigned Numbered
and Lettered Vehicles Only, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., when school is
in session" shall be posted in those areas where numbered parking
is in effect.
(4)
Regulations. All vehicles must park within the painted white lines
designating parking stalls.

The driveway in front of the diner, curb to curb and for its entire

Shop-Rite, Blocks 71 and 144, Lots 8, 9, 14A, 15, 16, 1A:
(1)
All entrance and exit driveways to the property from Central Avenue
and Raritan Road.
(2)
All internal driveways or aisles located between lined parking spaces,
between lined parking spaces and curbed islands, stall ends or sidewalks
and between driveway curbs.

unless marked or designated to permit parking.
