GENERAL REFERENCES
Parks and recreation areas — See Ch. 149.
It shall be unlawful for any person:
A. 
Except in necessary defense of person or property, to fire or discharge any gun, including but not limited to BB guns, air or pellet guns or any firearm, within the Borough;
B. 
To shoot with any bow and arrow, except in a shooting range, with adequate and proper backstop, for which there shall be granted a permit by the Chief of Police. In case of refusal of a permit by the Chief of Police, an appeal from that decision may be made by the applicant for the permit to Council, the decision of which shall be final.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and/or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 90 days.
