No person shall bring onto the premises, possess or consume any alcoholic beverage or illegal drugs of any kind while in attendance at any park, playground and/or recreation area within the Township, and no person shall enter a park, playground and/or recreation area in an intoxicated state or otherwise be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
No person having possession, custody or control of any animal shall knowingly or negligently permit any dog or other animal to enter onto the premises of any park, playground and/or recreation area or to commit any nuisance, i.e., defecation or urination, upon the grounds of any park, playground and/or recreation area within the Township.
It shall be unlawful for any person to remain in any park, recreational or playground area within the Township between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. during the months of March through October and between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. during the months of November through February.
It shall be unlawful for any person to ride a wheeled vehicle except on vehicle pathways in any park, recreational or playground area in the Township.
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to cut, break, mar, deface, or injure any tree, shrub, flowering plant, ornamental plant, building, structure, equipment, fence, or real or personal property in or upon the public grounds maintained by the Township. Public grounds include parks, playgrounds, trails, paths, recreational areas, public areas, sites for schools, sewage treatment, refuse disposal, publicly owned or operated facilities, and publicly owned or operated scenic and historic sites.
All parks, playgrounds and/or recreation areas shall be posted as to the prohibition, violation and fine as provided in this chapter.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding $600 and costs and, in default of payment thereof, shall be subject to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation of this chapter continues shall constitute a separate offense.
