The State Legislature has recently made available to veterans
who have served during Cold War periods an exemption in their assessments
to reduce their taxes because of their service. In order to make sure
that this exemption is available to the residents of the Town of East
Fishkill with respect to the Town assessment roll, this article is
hereby enacted.
All of the provisions of Subparagraph (ii) of Paragraph (a)
of Subdivision 2 of § 458-9 of the New York State Real Property
Tax Law be and hereby are adopted and enacted and in effect in the
Town of East Fishkill.
