No person shall throw, discharge or otherwise place or cause to be placed on any beach under the supervision of the Board of Parks and Recreation or the waters of Long Island Sound contiguous thereto any substance, matter or thing, liquid or solid, of any kind or nature which will or may result in the pollution of said beaches and water.
A. 
No person shall bring onto any beach or dump, deposit, discard or leave any bottle, broken glass, paper, paper boxes, cans, dirt, rubbish, waste, garbage, refuse or other trash on said beach or waters contiguous to said beach.
B. 
All such trash shall be placed in receptacles provided for such purpose. Receptacles are not to be used for household or commercial trash. Where receptacles are not provided, all such rubbish, waste or trash shall be carried away from the beaches by the person responsible for its presence and properly disposed of elsewhere.
No person shall kindle or attempt to kindle a fire or cook any food on said beaches unless the prior written consent of the Department of Parks and Recreation is first obtained.
No person shall dress or undress on any beaches supervised by the Department of Parks and Recreation.

A. 
No person shall walk or permit any domestic animal owned by him or in his custody in or upon a park or recreation area unless such animal is restrained by a leash, chain or cord no greater than six feet in length.
B. 
The owner or person having custody of such animal shall be responsible for the removal of and shall immediately remove any solid waste produced by such animal.
C. 
No person shall walk or permit any domestic animal owned by him or in his custody in or upon any beach within the City of West Haven, except that such domestic animals, if restrained by a leash, chain or cord no greater than six feet in length, shall be allowed only on the paved walkways along said beaches.
The possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages on the above-mentioned beaches is prohibited unless the prior written consent of the Department of Parks and Recreation is first obtained.
No motorized vehicle, including but not limited to all-terrain vehicles, mopeds, dune buggies, etc., shall be left standing or parked, nor shall any such vehicle be driven upon or pushed across any beach at any time, except for authorized parks and police patrol vehicles.
Disorderly conduct and obscene or indecent language or behavior on said beaches shall be prohibited.
