In accordance with Section 8-133b of the Connecticut General
Statutes and Section 110(e) of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended,
the West Haven Redevelopment Agency may and it is hereby authorized
to use tax credits instead of actual payments in lieu of taxes in
an amount equal to the ad valorem taxes which would have been levied
upon such property if it had been subject to ad valorem taxes, such
amounts to be prorated for the period during which such property is
owned by the West Haven Redevelopment Agency as part of a project,
such amounts to be considered a cash local grant-in-aid in accordance
with said Housing Act of 1949, as amended.
