All premises accessible to the Township's sewerage system, consistent with Chapter 13, § 93-1, of the Cranberry Township Code, shall be connected to the system, at the expense of the user and/or property owner.

All connections shall be made in accordance with the rules and regulations and other applicable requirements of the Township.

It shall be unlawful for any person owning any occupied building or premises accessible to the Township's sanitary sewerage system to erect, construct, use or maintain or cause to be erected, constructed, used or maintained any privy, cesspool, sinkhole, septic tank or other receptacle on such premises for receiving sanitary sewage.

No person(s) shall discharge or cause to be discharged any unpolluted waters such as stormwater, groundwater, roof runoff, subsurface drainage, or cooling water to any sewer.

Stormwater and all other unpolluted drainage shall be discharged to such sewers as are specifically designated as combined sewers or storm sewers or to a natural outlet approved by the Township and other regulatory agencies. Unpolluted industrial cooling water or process waters may be discharged, on approval by the Township, to a storm sewer, or natural outlet.[1]
