In accordance with the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code, Act 81 of 1976, Chapter 61, as amended, § 6109(b)(2), 75 Pa.C.S.A. § 6109(b)(2), pertaining to the specific powers of local municipalities, the Township Board of Supervisors herein establishes the Warminster Township Traffic Commission.

1. 
The following persons shall comprise the Traffic Commission:
A. 
Chief of Police.
B. 
Head of the Department of Licenses and Inspections.

C. 
Township Manager, or, in the absence of a Township Manager, the person serving as the chief administrative officer.
2. 
Members of the Traffic Commission shall serve without any additional compensation for serving as members of the Commission.

The Commission shall have the power to consider, survey and establish regulations within the Township as provided under § 6109 of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code, 75 Pa.C.S.A. § 6109. The Commission shall have the authority to request the Township Engineer and Township Solicitor to assist, when necessary, in the proceedings of the Commission.

No action shall be taken by the Commission except by the affirmative vote of at least two members of the Commission. The Board of Supervisors shall receive a copy of all actions taken by the Traffic Control Commission in furtherance of their responsibility as set forth in this Part 2D.
