The following fees are hereby fixed and established for certain services extended and materials distributed by the Police Department of the City of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey:
A. 
Copies of reports which are noncriminal in nature: $10 per report up to five sheets; $2 per sheet thereafter.
B. 
Search fees in cases where a review of a record is desired: $5 per record.
C. 
Viewing photographs of accident scenes: $5.
D. 
Photographic prints, one to 10 prints: $7 each; additional copies: $4 each.
E. 
Accident reports, one to three pages: $5; each additional page: $1 each; if picked up at the Police Department: $0.50 each page.
F. 
Other than accident reports: $10 up to five pages; additional pages: $2 each.
G. 
Fingerprints of canvassers, solicitors and others: $5 per set.
H. 
Viewing of video drinking/driving tapes: $30, by appointment only.
I. 
For a copy of an accident report when the request is not made in person, there is a fee of $5 for the first three pages and $1 for each additional page as provided in N.J.S.A. 39:4-131.

J. 
Where a request is a for a copy in a format that is not in a photocopy, every effort will be made to create the information in the requested format. Any postage incurred in connection with the production of records shall be expensed as a cost of the production of the item. The cost to produce the below items shall be as follows:

Audio tapes: $15.
(2) 
Video tapes: $25.
(3) 
Compact discs (CDs): $10.
(4) 
Digital versalle disc (DVDs): $25.
(5) 
Photographs: $5.
(6) 
Digital photographs: $10.
(7) 
X-rays: $8.
(8) 
Zip discs: $15.
(9) 
3 x 5 floppy discs: $5.

The time to produce the records usually will be within seven business days after the written request. In the event any record cannot be produced because it is not a public record or cannot be completed within the above time frame, then the party will be so notified within the seven-day period.

Certain records by statute have specific fees and one can inspect documents without charge during regular business hours or the request may be done electronically.

The viewing or reviewing of reports and photographs of accident scenes shall be permitted at police headquarters daily, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
No search fee shall be charged in the event that a report or photograph is not on file with the Police Department, nor for any report or photograph for which a formal request is made by any local, county, state or federal law enforcement agency or by the federal postal authorities.
The Police Department shall issue a receipt for all fees and moneys received for the services extended or materials furnished as hereinabove provided. All moneys received shall be turned over to the City Treasurer within 48 hours.
