The following words and phrases, as used in this chapter, shall
have the following meanings and definitions.
All sales entitled "garage sale," "lawn sale," "attic sale,"
"rummage sale" or "flea market sale," or any similar casual sale of
tangible personal property which is advertised by any means whereby
the public at large is or can be made aware of such sale.
All private sales as listed in § 190-1 shall be held or conducted only between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
All items for such sales must be removed and stored within a
fully enclosed building. No items are to be left in the open after
the hours permitted.
Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter
shall be liable to a penalty of not less than $25 for the first offense;
$50 for the second offense; and $100 for the third offense, and every
offense thereafter.
