No person, firm or corporation shall park a truck, tractor or omnibus on any public street in the Township between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. prevailing time, of any day. In addition, no person, firm or corporation shall permit any trailer or boat trailer attached to motor vehicle, to be parked upon any street in the Township at any time.

This article does not apply to any truck with net vehicle weight exclusive of passengers and payload of 6,000 pounds or less; however, this exemption shall not apply to either trailers or boat trailers.

Nothing contained within this article shall be construed to prevent, provided such trailers are attached to motor vehicle, any such vehicles or trailers from being parked upon a street within the Township for the purpose of making deliveries of merchandise or other property to the premises on the street along which such vehicle is so parked, nor to prevent the parking of any such vehicle or trailer by public utility company in connection with the construction, installation, operation or maintenance of public utilities, nor to prevent the parking of such vehicles and/or trailers, the owner and/or operator of same are present at the premises, on the street along which such vehicle and/or trailer is so parked for the purposes of performing landscaping services at such premises nor to prevent the parking of vehicles attending to an emergency.
Signs with the following specifications shall be posted on all streets and highways at the entrance to the Township:
A. 
The signs shall be in red letters on white background and reflectorized, incorporated on a single plate 30 inches in width and 24 inches in height, with the legend "Commercial Trucks," "Trailers," and "Buses," lettering to be six inches.
B. 
On a plate below said "Commercial Trucks," "Trailers," and "Buses," which plate shall be 36 inches in height and 30 inches in width, shall appear the legend "No Parking Any Street 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.," the lettering therefor to be five inches for "No Parking" and four inches for "Any Street 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m."

Upon a finding that such action is necessary for the public safety, the Township fire subcode official and the Police Department may require the owner or owners of any shopping center, commercial structure, place of public assembly, multiple dwelling group, office building, hotel or motel, school or marina to designate "Fire Zone" in the driveways of the premises leading to and from the parking areas, loading areas, public streets or right-of-way leading to the above-type buildings or structures. Such fire zones, also to be known as "fire lanes," shall be not less than 18 feet nor more than 50 feet in width, with a minimum vertical clearance of 13 1/2 feet, and shall be striped and lettered in yellow on a paved surface, such striping and lettering to remain legible at all times. Metal "Fire Zone" signs, the lettering of same to be legible at all times, shall be provided, erected and maintained by said owner or owners and placed at the discretion of the Township fire subcode official and the Police Department. Such signs are to be of a design and quality and lettered in accordance with applicable state law and approved by the Township fire subcode official. No person shall at any time part a vehicle or in any other manner obstruct any driveway, fire hydrant or other area that has been designated as hereinabove provided and described as a "fire zone."
A violator of this article shall be subject to fine of not less than $50 and not more than $250. The provisions of this article shall be enforced by any duly sworn police officer of the Township, the Township's Code Enforcement Officer or by subcode official and/or fire subcode official.
