§ 151 Boards and Commissions Established.

1. The following boards and commissions are established in conformity with the applicable provisions of the Borough Code and any other law governing the individual board or commission:

A. Civil Service Commission.

B. Borough Planning Commission.

C. Zoning Hearing Board.

2. The terms of all members of these boards and commissions shall automatically terminate as of December 31, 1975, in accordance with Section 1265(a) of the Home Rule Charter and Optional Plans Law, and appointments to each shall thereafter be made in accordance with Section 1221 of the Home Rule Charter and Optional Plans Law.

§ 152 The Borough Planning Commission.

The Borough Planning Commission shall consist of nine members with the term of each member being four years, or until his or her successor is appointed and qualified. The terms of the members shall also be staggered so that no more than three members of the Planning Commission shall be appointed or replaced in any calendar year. Other than as set forth in § 151, the powers, duties, responsibilities and regulation of membership shall be as set forth in Article II of the Municipalities Planning Code, 53 P.S. § 10201 et seq.
