This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Quakertown
Subdivision Regulation Ordinance of 1964."

The purpose of this chapter is as follows:
A.
To assure sites suitable for building purposes and human habitation.
B.
To provide for the harmonious, orderly, efficient and integrated
development of the Borough.
C.
To provide for adequate open spaces for traffic, recreation, light
and air.
D.
To provide for the proper distribution of population, thereby creating
conditions favorable to the health, safety, morals and general welfare
of the residents of the Borough.
E.
To secure equitable handling of subdivision plans by providing uniform
procedures and standards for observance both by subdividers and by
Borough officials.
F.
To provide for the coordination of proposed streets, parks and other
facilities with the existing streets and other public facilities of
the Borough.
