§ 37-1 Authority to fix and determine terms. [1]

The Town Board of the Town of Elmira is hereby authorized to fix the compensation of the Secretary of the Board of Assessment and Review and the Chairman and the members of each of the following Town boards and commissions: the Planning Board, the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Recreation Commission. To implement this chapter, the Town Board shall by resolution each year determine what meetings shall be compensable, the rate of compensation and when such compensation shall be payable.

§ 37-2 Supersession of Town Law.

This chapter is intended to supersede the provisions of § 27(1) of the Town Law.
