A. 
A municipal parking field shall mean such parking field already owned or maintained by the Incorporated Village of Farmingdale as follows:
(1) 
Field No. 1 is that parking field in that block bounded by Conklin Street, Main Street, Washington Street and South Front Street and is designated as Hogan Field.
(2) 
Field No. 2 is that parking field in that block bounded by Conklin Street. Main Street, Prospect Street and Waverly Place and is designated as Weber Field.
(3) 
Field No. 3 is that parking field in that block bounded by Conklin Street, South Front Street, Elizabeth Street and Main Street and is designated as Rathgeber Field.
(4) 
Field No. 4 is that parking field in that block bounded by Conklin Street, Main Street, Cherry Street and Grant Avenue and is designated as Murray Field.
(5) 
Field No. 5 is that parking field in that block bounded by the main line right-of-way of the L.I.R.R., Sperry Place, Depot Avenue and Eastern Parkway and is designated as Commuters Parking Field No. 1.

(6) 
Field No. 6 is that parking field located on the northwest corner of Main and Front Streets in the Village of Farmingdale.

Parking Field No. 7 is that parking field located on the east side of Division Street north of Cornelia Street.

Parking Field No. 8 is that parking field located north of the main line right-of-way of the L.I.R.R., east of Secatogue Avenue, and is designated as Commuters Parking Field No. 2.[1]

B. 
Parking permits.

(1) 
Time-limit parking.
(a) 
No person shall park any vehicle in Municipal Parking Field No. 1, 2, 3, or 4 for a period longer than three hours unless otherwise designated. Further, parking is unrestricted in Municipal Parking Field No. 1, 2, 3 or 4 lots from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.; except Monday and Friday between the hours of 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., when no parking is allowed.
(2) 
Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions, any person owning or conducting a business, trade or profession in the Village and any employee of such person, and any person residing on Main Street, Washington Street, or Cornelia Street may park a vehicle owned or operated by such person on the three most westerly lanes of Parking Field No. 2, and one most easterly lane of parking Field No. 3; the three most easterly lanes of parking Field No. 4, and in Parking Field Nos. 3A, 6 and 7 for a period not exceeding 12 hours in any calendar day in any designated twelve-hour location.

C. 
The Board of Trustees of the Village is hereby authorized and empowered to designate all traffic lanes contained within the bounds of any parking field owned or maintained by the Village upon or along which vehicles shall proceed in one direction only and to erect and maintain signs indicating the same. It shall therefore be unlawful for the operator of such a vehicle to operate the same upon or along such traffic lanes in a direction contrary to that determined by the Board of Trustees and indicated by said signs.
D. 
It shall be unlawful for the operator of a vehicle to stop, stand or park such vehicle in front of, in or along any entrance to or exit from any parking field owned or maintained by the Village, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer.
E. 
The Board of Trustees of the Village has caused to have marked off individual parking spaces within the municipal parking fields of the Village, said parking spaces being designated by lines durably marked upon the curbing or surface of said parking fields, and the markings now upon said parking fields, showing the location and direction thereof, are hereby adopted.
F. 
No parking, except for firemen, Village officials and Village employees. No person, other than a volunteer fireman and officials and employees of the Incorporated Village of Farmingdale, shall park any vehicle within the parking area immediately to the east of the Village Hall and Fire Department headquarters.[3]

G. 
The Board of Trustees shall establish, from time to time, by resolution, any fees for parking in the municipal parking areas.[4]
