[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Farmingdale 7-25-1932 by Ord. No. 50 (Ch. 34 of the 1975 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]

Each building within the Incorporated Village of Farmingdale is to bear a house number which shall be the number allotted it on a certain map filed for that purpose in the office of the Village Clerk-Treasurer, and such number shall be affixed to the house at or near the entrance of same and in such a manner and of such size that it will be legible from the street.
Any person or corporation violating this chapter shall be subject to a penalty not exceeding $250 or 15 days' imprisonment, or both, and such violation shall constitute disorderly conduct and the person violating same shall be a disorderly person.
