[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Farmingdale 7-25-1932 by Ord. No. 40 (Ch. 88, Art. VII, of the 1975 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
GENERAL REFERENCES

Streets and sidewalks — See Ch. 485.
No person, persons, firm or corporation shall erect telegraph, telephone or electric light poles, or string wires, in, over or upon the streets or public grounds of the Village, or upon, over or in front of any building or buildings within the Village, without first procuring written permission from the Village Clerk-Treasurer.
Any person, persons, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding $250 or 15 days' imprisonment, or both, for each and every offense, and such violation shall constitute disorderly conduct and the person violating the same shall be a disorderly person.

All permits granted under this chapter are granted upon the express condition that the same may be revoked by the Board of Trustees.
This chapter shall take effect August 20, 1932, or immediately as to any person or firm served with a copy of this chapter.
