A. 
Pursuant to the provisions of RSA 261:157-A, the Town shall waive the fee to be charged for a permit to register one motor vehicle owned by any person who was either: 1) captured and incarcerated for 30 days or more; or 2) was awarded a Purple Heart; or 3) survived the attack on Pearl Harbor; while serving in a qualifying war or armed conflict as defined in RSA 72:28, V, and who was honorably discharged or is still on active duty, provided that the person has provided the Town Clerk with satisfactory proof of these circumstances.
B. 
The Transportation Improvement Fee as permitted for under RSA 261:153-VI(a) is waived for those who obtain a Prisoner of War, Purple Heart, or Pearl Harbor plate, or are an honorably discharged disabled veteran.
