[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of
Palmyra 10-10-1966 by Ord. No. 320 (Ch. 1, Part 8, of the 1975 Borough
Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
The audit of the accounts of the Borough of Palmyra, beginning
with the accounts for the fiscal year 1966, shall hereafter be made
by a certified public accountant, or a firm of certified public accountants,
appointed by the Council of the Borough of Palmyra and employed by
the Borough of Palmyra.
Such auditor shall be appointed by resolution adopted annually
before the commencement of the fiscal year, and the employment shall
be subject to termination at any time, in accordance with the provision
of the laws applicable thereto.
