A. 
Any person, upon proper notice or audible warning, who fails to comply with the direction of a posted crossing guard during such times as directed by the Chief of Police or established by the governing body shall be subject to a fine of not less than $150 nor more than $300.[1]

B. 
In the case of a person less than 18 years old, such first offense shall result in a warning summons being sent to the parents and to the school. A second or subsequent offense shall result in the violation being charged against the parent or legal guardian of the child.
