The rate of compensation for contracting the services of off-duty
law enforcement officers shall be based on a rate of time and 1/2
of the officer's then current hourly rate.
An additional fee of $10 per hour shall be charged for any vehicle
usage as assigned by the Police Chief for up to seven consecutive
hours or any part of the calendar day. A charge of $125 shall be charged
for any vehicle usage as assigned by the Police Chief in excess of
seven consecutive hours or any part of the calendar day. Whenever
possible, the oldest usable Police Department vehicle will be assigned.
