There is hereby adopted by the City for the purpose of establishing
a minimum standard of plumbing installation, service, and operation
of sanitary plumbing systems, to protect the health, safety and welfare
of the people in the City, that certain code known as the "2009 New
Mexico Plumbing Code" and any amendments or changes thereto, including
any and all new editions thereof, and the same is hereby adopted by
reference and incorporated as fully as if set out in this article
verbatim.
One or more copies of the 2009 New Mexico Plumbing Code adopted by § 150-8 shall be available and subject to inspection at all reasonable times in the office of the City Manager in the municipal building.
All applications for plumbing permits shall be handled as provided
for in the State Plumbing Code, and the Deputy State Plumbing Inspector
shall continue to issue permits, conduct inspections, and charge fees,
all as provided for by the 2009 New Mexico Plumbing Code.
