A.
Thirty miles per hour is hereby established as the maximum speed
at which vehicles may proceed within the corporate limits of this
Village.
B.
The speed limit in the confines of the Village Parking Lot shall
be a maximum of 10 miles per hour.
C.
Fines shall be in accordance with the provisions of § 1180
(d) of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law, and any subsequent
amendments thereto.
All persons are forbidden to turn a motor vehicle or motorcycle
around, or make U-turns on any public street within the corporate
limits of said Village.
A ten-ton limit is hereby established as the maximum weight
limit for designated streets, with signage, within the corporate limits
of the Village.
All persons are forbidden from parking or standing motor vehicles
or motorcycles on Main Street, Mill Street and New Hartford Street/Lake
Avenue, except by placing such motor vehicle or motorcycles in position
as designated by the painted marks on the surface of said streets
and, where diagonal parking or standing is required, with the front
of said motor vehicle or motorcycles facing the curb, and subject
to the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York, in such cases
made and provided.
All persons are forbidden from stopping a motor vehicle or motorcycle
anywhere on Main Street between New Hartford Street/Lake Avenue and
Mill Street unless parking the same at the curb at the places designated
therefor no longer than necessary to take on or discharge a passenger
or passengers.
All persons are forbidden to park or drive any motor vehicle
or motorcycles on any sidewalks in said Village, except to cross the
same at driveways or other necessary places.
All persons are prohibited from parking or standing any motor
vehicle or motorcycle in any safety zone as designated in any street
by street markings or other suitable signs.
A.
While making deliveries, all persons are forbidden to park any motor
vehicle on Main Street between New Hartford Street/Lake Avenue and
Mill Street for the purpose of delivering goods, wares or merchandise
or for any other purpose, which said motor vehicle or any part of
the same shall extend over the sidewalk beyond three feet from the
curb of the same or extend toward the center of the street beyond
15 feet measured in a straight line from the curb of the sidewalk.
B.
The maximum period of continuous parking of a motor vehicle on Main
Street shall be limited to two hours.
No motor vehicle or motorcycle may be parked on any public street
in the Village between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. from November
1 to April 15.
No person shall park a motor vehicle or motorcycle in the parking
lot situated to the south of Main Street between Mill Street and New
Hartford Street, except in compliance with the painted marks on the
surface of such parking lot and pursuant to and in compliance with
the regulations and orders of the supervisor thereof, if one be present.
