A.
The Water Department agrees to furnish water to its customers on
certain terms specified in this chapter.
B.
The Village reserves the right to shut off water in case of fire,
constructing new work, making repairs or leakage test. The right is
reserved to shut off the water without written notice for as long
a period as may be necessary. The Village shall not be liable for
any damage which may result from shutting off the water, or from change
of pressure from any cause whatever.
All installations and all boilers shall be fitted with suitable
check valves to prevent accident or damage in case the water supply
should fail or it should be necessary to shut off the water.
If the customer or anyone concerned disobeys this chapter, the
supply of water to him may be shut off, or a fine of not less than
$5 nor more than $25 may be levied against him, or he may be imprisoned
in the Wayne County Jail for not less than five days nor more than
25 days.
