The Board of Health, heretofore established under Chapter 45, Article V, of the Code, shall remain in effect as the Division of Health in the Department of Administration and shall do and perform all of the functions and duties of said Board, as previously, except that said Board shall not have any power to make or enact ordinances, but shall remain an advisory board under the supervision of the Business Administrator.
The Board of Health may, subject to the approval of the Business
Administrator, recommend to the Municipal Council a contract for the
provision of health services by health departments or agencies of
nearby municipalities or the County of Passaic.
