A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to park or store any motor vehicle in the front yard of any residential property in any zoning district in the Borough of Hawthorne unless that vehicle is parked in a driveway. For purposes of this article, a "driveway" is a defined paved or unpaved surface, having a width not in excess of 18 feet, and providing access to a street.
This article shall be enforced by the Police Department of the Borough of Hawthorne or the Property Maintenance Officer designated by the Borough of Hawthorne. Such enforcement shall not preclude or limit the enforcement of additional regulations that may be promulgated by the Borough of Hawthorne pursuant to Chapter 370, Property Maintenance, or Chapter 540, Zoning, of the Code of the Borough of Hawthorne.
Unless another penalty is expressly provided by New Jersey statute, every person convicted of a violation of the provisions of this article shall be liable to a penalty of not more than $50 per day for each day that the violation goes unabated.
