The Board of Trustees determines that it is necessary therefore to authorize the appointment of alternate members to said Boards to serve in place of absent members so that official business can be conducted in a timely and efficient manner. It is the intent of this article to provide for the appointment, terms, functions and powers of alternate members to the Planning and Zoning Boards of the Village of Walden.
