This chapter or any part thereof may be amended, supplemented
or repealed, from time to time, by the Board of Trustees on its own
motion or upon recommendation by the Planning Board after public hearing
according to law. An individual may petition for a zoning amendment,
which petition shall be accompanied by a fee as set by resolution
of the Board of Trustees from time to time.
This chapter shall take effect upon filing with the Secretary
of State and upon filing in accordance with Village Law § 7-706,
but it shall take effect from the date of its service as against a
person served personally with a copy thereof, certified by the Village
Clerk under the corporate seal of the Village, and showing the date
of its passage and entry in the minutes.
