There are hereby established the following fees for emergency
medical services:
A.
Residents,
fee per response and transport: an amount equal to the reimbursable
cost from health insurance, automobile insurance, Medicare, Medicaid,
or other insurance program not to exceed $575, less the cost of any
deductible and co-pay.
B.
Nonresidents,
fee per response and transport: $575.
C.
Mileage
fee: In addition to the foregoing fees, there shall be a mileage fee
charged from the point of pickup to the hospital or other point of
discharge. This fee shall be in an amount of up to $10 per mile with
the exact amount to be determined by the Township’s emergency
medical service (EMS).
