1. The Red Hill Borough Council may, from time to time, amend, supplement,
change, modify, or repeal the provisions of this Chapter by proceeding
in accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.
The Red Hill Borough Council shall, by resolution adopted at a regular
or special meeting, fix the time and place of a public hearing on
the proposed amendment and cause public notice thereof to be given
as follows:
A. By publishing a notice thereof once each week for two successive
weeks in a newspaper of general circulation within Red Hill Borough.
The first notice shall not be more than 30 days and the second notice
shall not be less than seven days from the date of the hearing.
B. The notice shall State the time and place of the hearing, either
the full text or the title and a brief summary of the proposed amendment,
prepared by the Red Hill Borough Solicitor and setting forth all the
provisions in reasonable detail, and shall State that full opportunity
to be heard will be given to any citizen and all parties with an interest
in attending such hearing. The notice shall also contain a reference
to a place within Red Hill Borough where copies of the proposed amendment
may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater
than the cost thereof.
C. If the full text is not included in the notice:

A copy of the amendment shall be supplied to a newspaper of
general circulation in Red Hill Borough at the time the public notice
is published.
(2)
An attested copy of the proposed amendment shall be filed in
the Montgomery County Law Library or other County office designated
by the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners, which may impose
a fee no greater than that necessary to cover the actual costs of
storing the ordinance.

Unless the proposed amendment has been prepared by the Red Hill
Borough Planning Commission, all proposed amendments before adoption
shall be referred to the Red Hill Borough Planning Commission and,
in addition in all cases, shall be referred to the Montgomery County
Planning Commission at least 30 days prior to the public hearing,
for recommendation and report, which shall be advisory.

Should any section or provision of this Chapter be declared
to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision
shall not affect the validity of the Chapter as a whole or any other
part thereof.

All ordinances and parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith
are repealed upon the legally effective date of this Chapter.
