It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly start a fight,
fight or commit any assault or battery in any public place in the
City of Crystal Lake. This chapter shall not apply to any sanctioned
or approved sporting events at which fighting shall take place.
Any person found guilty of violating the provisions of this chapter shall be fined as set forth in Chapter 248, Fines.
