The town officials collecting money from persons doing business
in the Town of Hartland shall hereby charge $15 for any check returned
for insufficient funds, in accordance with Chapter 203 of the Laws
of New York, 1989.[1]

Any person having had a check which was returned for insufficient
funds shall be required to remit any future payments only in the form
of certified or cashier's check.
Such fee may only be waived for those persons who can prove
that it was through no fault of their own that a check was returned
for insufficient funds.
