The Council of the Borough of Mount Gretna is hereby authorized
to appoint an independent auditor who shall be:
An independent auditor shall be appointed annually, by resolution
before the close of a fiscal year, to make an independent examination
of the accounting records of the Borough for such fiscal year.
The Independent auditor shall also perform the other duties
and exercise the powers as conferred upon him, by Article XI, Section
K of the Borough Code, Act Number 581, of February 1, 1966,[1] and amendments.

The office of elected Borough auditor or controller is hereby
abolished.
