Any building or use existing on the effective date of this chapter, although not conforming to the provisions of this chapter may be continued.
No nonconforming use which shall have been discontinued for a period exceeding 12 months shall be resumed, and the premises shall thereafter be used only in conformance with the regulations of the district in which the premises are situated.
A. 
Where any membership corporation using premises as a club under a nonconforming use has discontinued such use, then any other membership corporation wishing to use said premises for the same purposes must, within one year of such discontinuance, apply to the Village Board for a permit.
B. 
The application for such permit must include the following:
(1) 
That such membership corporation shall not be organized or operated for profit.
(2) 
That any pool shall be properly lighted.
(3) 
That any pool shall be closed at 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and 12:00 midnight on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
(4) 
That cabanas shall not be occupied after 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and 12:00 midnight on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
(5) 
That the membership of said membership corporation shall be limited to 300 members, 1/2 of whom must be residents of the Town of Huntington.
