A. 
No resident in the Borough of Zelienople will be permitted to install any ramplike structure on the portion of the curb facing the street so as to provide access to a driveway or piece of property.
B. 
No Borough resident will be permitted to remove or otherwise alter any curbing, be it concrete or asphalt, without first obtaining the approval from the Borough.
C. 
Any individual seeking to alter, remove or in any other manner change a curb must submit to the Borough office a sketch or drawing, prepared to scale, showing the planned work to be performed.
D. 
The plan must indicate the amount of curb to be removed as well as the remaining height of that portion of curb which is to remain. The plan must indicate the method by which the curb is to be cut and removed as well as any plans the property owner may make to preserve the integrity of the remaining portion of the curb. The cut side portions of the curb must be tapered so as to permit a smooth, gradual decline.
E. 
Any individual who fails to obtain a permit is subject to prosecution for tampering with Borough property.
F. 
Should the curb cut not be in compliance with this article, the Borough reserves the right unto itself to make all and every repair necessary to achieve compliance, the cost of making these repairs to be assessed against the property owner as provided by law.
